CAPITAL HEALTH NAMED 2013 BUSINESS PARTNER OF THE YEAR

Trenton, NJ – November 14, 2013: The Mercer County Technical School District’s General Advisory Committee named Capital Health as its 2013 Business Partner of the Year. Capital Health, the region’s leader in advanced medicine, was selected for its continued support of secondary and postsecondary career and technical education programs. Scott Clemmensen, Capital Health’s Vice President of Human Resources, accepted the honor on behalf of Capital Health at a luncheon held at the school yesterday. Scott Clemmensen is a member of the Mercer County Technical School District’s General Advisory Committee and its Health Science Academy Advisory Committee.

The Mercer County Technical School District’s General Advisory Committee honors one local business partner annually. The General Advisory Committee is chaired by Dr. Walter Brower, Dean Emeritus of Rider University’s School of Education. “We have a deep appreciation for Capital Health as our partner in career and technical education. Together, we are working to prepare a skilled workforce for Mercer County,” states Dr. Brower. More than 40 professionals from local businesses and organizations such as Wegmans, Switlik Parachute Company, Incorporated and Ironworkers Local 68 make up the Mercer County Technical School District’s General Advisory Committee.
