Join us for either or both of our two-week Career Exploration Camps at Mercer County Technical Schools.
The Summer Career Camps at MCTS will provide students with the opportunity to learn introductory skills, form new relationships with their peers, and learn more about themselves and their future goals by exploring different career pathways. Campers will also learn 21st Century life skills such as: working collaboratively with other campers, practicing time management, presenting ideas and project status to campers and staff, and acquiring team-building skills.
Biology Blast - Both Sessions - Assunpink
User-friendly, age-appropriate projects teach students how to extract DNA, make a cell, dissect a frog, and more!
FULL - Car Camp - Session 1 Only - Sypek
Use your imagination to build the car of your dreams with model car building and customization! Also, learn basic vehicle repair, including oil changes, tire-changing procedures, and vehicle detailing inside & out.
SESSION I FULL - Coding and Robotics - Both Sessions - Sypek
Learn what makes a robot a robot! Build and program your bot to take on different challenges, scenarios, and compete against other teams.
Session II FULL - Computer Game Creation - Both Sessions - Assunpink
Design and create a video game using Roblox Studio! Learn to access community assets and add them to your game, then use Lua scripts to turn them into functional, interactive elements. Publish your game for free to share with family and friends!
FULL - Culinary Arts - Session 1 Only - Sypek
Have a real-world cooking experience with our Chefs in our professional kitchen. Learn cooking techniques, baking, and participate in many unique culinary challenges!
Eco Venture - Both Sessions - Sypek
Experience the sustainable environment with gardening, plants, and real-life biology. Take a fun hands-on dive into environmental science outdoors at the Sypek Creek.
Electrical Construction - Both Sessions - Assunpink
Supercharge your Summer! Students will get hands-on experience in electrical work and other projects, while learning real-world skills, teamwork, and how things are built from the ground up.

Explore the real-world math behind business, entrepreneurship, construction measurements, and everyday life. Through interactive challenges and creative projects, we will discover how math powers the things we use, build, buy, and create every day.
FULL - The Mane Event (Cosmetology) - Session 1 Only - Sypek
Students will explore the art and science of cosmetology through hands-on hairstyling, skincare, nail design, and salon basics—while learning about creativity, professionalism, beauty careers, and having fun.

Fast Facts About Summer Camp
- Camps are taught by certified teaching staff in their respective fields.
- Camps are offered at our Sypek Campus, 129 Bull Run Road, Pennington, NJ 08534, and our Assunpink Campus, 1085 Old Trenton Rd, Trenton, NJ 08690.
- Families/parents provide transportation to and from Camp.
- All campers receive a t-shirt and a Certificate of Completion.
- Please note: transportation is not provided by MCTS.
