COMMERCIAL ART TECHNOLOGY – (20 Credits) (College Credit Offered)
Students taking Commercial Art Technology have an interest in art, computers and design.  Some want to be graphic designers, illustrators, comic book artists, photographers, web designers, etc.  Some would just like to further their skills.  We take that interest to the next level and combine traditional skills with up-to-date, computer skills!  All students work on individual state-of-the-art iMac, OSX 10.5 Leopard, 20 inch Display, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor to obtain extensive hands-on computer training.  In the CAT program you will learn Adobe CS3 Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.  Students also learn to create Computer Animation and WEB design using Flash and Dreamweaver.  Upon completion students develop a professional portfolio.

Students who maintain an "A" or "B" are eligible for 9 college credits at M.C.C.C. or the Art Institute of Philadelphia.  So if you are interested in the design and production of printed and digital materials, check this program out.
