Students Seeking Admission to THE HEALTH CAREERS CENTER

All applicants must possess a high school diploma or state equivalency certificate (GED).

A completed application fee (money order) made payable to the MERCER COUNTY BOARD OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION must be submitted. Application received without the application fee will not be processed. The application fee is non-refundable. A passport photo must be attached to the application.

High school transcripts or GED scores must be requested and sent directly to the Health Careers Center. Copies of diplomas are not acceptable.

Upon receipt of the application and application fee, the applicant will be notified by mail of the next scheduled pre-entrance test date. Tests are generally scheduled each month. Applicants must arrive early on the day of testing. No one will be seated after the testing begins.

Upon passage of both the math and the reading comprehension tests, applicants will be provided with required physical and dental forms to be completed. Upon completion and submission of these forms, the applicant will be scheduled for a personal interview.

Applications will not be considered unless all requested information has been received.
