Customer Behavior MKT 240
Consumer behavior and how its understanding can be used to market products. Examines underlying concepts of consumer motivation, and social/cultural dimensions of consumer behavior.

Customer Service in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry HOS 105
Providing customer service within the hospitality industry. Focus on “customer-contact employees,” who provide direct customer services. Skills to provide excellent customer service within every aspect of the industry, including lodging, food service, air transportation, cruise lines, and travel agencies. Includes understanding different cultures.

Business Letter and Report Writing BUS 209
Emphasis placed on developing a clear writing style. Practical strategies for organizing ideas, choosing effective words and composing concise paragraphs that make writing clear and persuasive. Includes letters of inquiry, claim, collection, adjustment, resume and cover letter. A brief oral and written business report is required.
