Health Science Academy

Mercer County Technical Schools now offers a full-time, four-year Health Science Academy that will give students a chance to earn college credit as they prepare for careers or further study in the fast-growing health care field.

The Health Science Academy, based at the Assunpink Center, offers students a program of advanced and specialized coursework supplemented by regular exposure to working professionals and specialists in the health care field.

The academy’s affiliations with hospitals, research centers, private practitioners, colleges and universities help bring learning to life for students. Students also benefit from access to career counselors who prepare them for career selection and further study.

The academy is offered in collaboration with Mercer County Community College. Students may earn up to 21 college credits by the end of their senior year.
