employment skills,

certification and licensing,

training, and

arranged through the Adult
Evening School.
Special courses, workshops, and seminars can be arranged to assist the

Federal and state approved apprenticeship training courses are offered
through the Adult
Evening School.
Some programs may satisfy Veterans Education requirements. An apprentice must
take a minimum of 144 hours of job-related (theory) instruction per year of
apprenticeship. All apprenticeship courses are designed to offer apprentices
both theory and practical experiences. Emphasis is usually placed on those
areas not covered in the daily job requirements.
Students who successfully meet the requirements of the program are eligible
for a Certificate of Proficiency. Apprentices who successfully complete their
respective program and comply with the yearly attendance requirements are
awarded certificates jointly by the school, the New Jersey Departments of
Labor, and the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship Training.
