Basic Industrial Math I - BS101

The student will be able to perform the basic mathematical operations necessary to function within the construction and machine trades.
 

1. Adding and subtracting whole numbers
2. Multiplying and diving whole numbers
3. Adding and subtracting fractions
4. Multiplying and dividing fractions
5. Adding and subtracting decimals
6. Multiplying and dividing decimals
7. Percentage problems
8. Ration and proportion
9. Square and square root of a number
10. Area and perimeter
11. Right triangles - are and degrees
12. Area and circumference of circles

Location:  Assunpink Center
1   36-hour unit, 1 evening per week, 3 hours per evening (12 weeks)
